Full Stack Developer
Daniel Bishop
Hi, I’m Daniel, a web developer with nine years of professional software development experience, specializing in enterprise applications, system architecture, and DevOps.
My journey started in 2010 when I earned my Computer Science degree from RMIT, and since then, I’ve worked across full-stack-adjacent roles that blend development,
infrastructure, and problem-solving.
For the past six years, I’ve worked with ServiceNow in enterprise environments, where I’ve built and customized applications using JavaScript, ServiceNow’s server-side scripting,
and client-side technologies. This experience has given me a deep understanding of back-end logic, database interactions, and API integrations, which directly aligns with full-stack development.
I’ve worked closely with Business Analysts, stakeholders, and Agile Scrum teams, gathering requirements, translating them into work items, and presenting solutions to decision-makers.
Before that, I spent two years as a DevOps specialist at an insurance company, managing CI/CD pipelines, handling multi-server environments, and troubleshooting complex system issues.
I worked with C#, React, SQL databases, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and various source control tools like Git, Bitbucket, and SVN.
Debugging was a core part of my role, requiring me to analyze logs, track down performance bottlenecks, and resolve issues in large-scale distributed systems.
Additionally, I have experience building custom WordPress sites for a graphic design studio, where I refined my skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and server management.
What sets me apart is my strong debugging and problem-solving skills—I enjoy breaking down complex issues, identifying the root cause, and implementing efficient solutions.
This, combined with my full-stack development mindset, makes me well-suited for projects that require a mix of front-end, back-end, and infrastructure expertise.
I’m particularly interested in working on projects that push the boundaries of technology—whether that’s agriculture tech, medical software, or sports/racing analytics.
I love tackling challenging and meaningful problems that improve lives and industries.
If you’re looking for a developer who understands the full development lifecycle and has a strong technical foundation in JavaScript and enterprise systems, let’s connect!
